What Is DTF Film Roll and Transfer Powder Used For?

DTF transfer film (also called DTF paper) used for printing, and transfer powder (TPU based) which is melted in the heat pressing process, to get stuck to the fabric. Technically, this is the DTF eco-system technology that makes it possible to have full-color transfers on most light and dark textiles.

The technical term for the process of thermally transferring textile inks onto film is DTF printing. 

DTF printed film can be used on a number of materials, such as cotton and polyester. Both types of material can be used to transfer artwork onto cotton, polyester, blends, canvas, and more, allowing for custom apparel, tote bags, caps, and other promotional textiles. When printing with a DTF printer, the ink is first printed onto a DTF paper/film. DTF powder is then added to cover the printed area before curing.
