8 Days or more Without Use:
1. Remove the ink sacs, extract the ink inside them, and wrap all the ink sacs in a sealed plastic bag.
2. Use cleaning solution, Insert the empty ink tubes into the cleaning solution and use a syringe to draw the solution through the tubes until all six replacement ink sacs are filled with the protection liquid. Place the filled ink sacs back(on top of the printhead). Kindly watch tutorial video for a detailed operation.
3. Perform 2 head cleanings circle (via the driver). At this point, the protection liquid will fill the printhead. (You can check the waste ink pipe to see if a slightly transparent liquid is flowing out—this liquid is a mixture of the remaining ink and the protection liquid from the printhead.)
4. Make sure both the rear and panel power switches are on. The carriage will start moving. When the carriage moves to the left side, turn off the rear power (this allows you to move the carriage freely). Add a few drops of protection liquid to the ink pad on the right side.
5. Turn the rear power and front panel power back on. The carriage will run a self-check and automatically return to the original position.
6. Empty the waste ink bottle.
7. Turn off both power switches (rear power and front panel power).
8. Store the printer in a cool place or use a suitable cover to protect it from direct sunlight.
9. If necessary, use a humidifier to prevent excessive dryness.
Notes:
1. Use InkSonic dedicated cleaning and protection liquid to ensure the longevity and proper functioning of your dtf printer and consumables.
2. Choose InkSonic original print heads instead of low-cost, substandard alternatives. Using inferior products can not only damage the machine but also void the warranty.
3. Avoid Improper Handling: Do not manually inject cleaning fluid. Avoid using syringes to manually inject cleaning fluid into the printhead nozzles. This operation can easily damage both the printhead and the motherboard.
4. Regular Testing: If the printer will be idle for long periods, run occasional test prints to ensure everything is functioning correctly.
Returning from vacation
- 1. Check the temperature and humidity regularly, and promptly refill the ink to avoid the ink level dropping below half.
- 2. Remove the moisturizing device.
- 3. Open the sealed bag of the original ink cartridge, use a syringe to draw ink until the cartridge is full, and then place it back.
- 4. After turning on the power at the back and the panel power, perform a cleaning operation once using the driver, then conduct a nozzle check to determine if further cleaning is needed based on the result. (Generally, 1-2 cleanings are sufficient). Once the nozzle test result is good as shown, printing can proceed.
