How to choose a printhead for your DTF printer?

Regularly turn on the DTF printer :

If the printer has not been used recently, it is recommended to operate it at least every three days. Once the printer is powered on, the DTF printer will automatically activate the white ink circulation system. After that, you can press the automatic cleaning function button on the panel or use the software driver to perform printhead cleaning and nozzle checks.

Use the moisturizing device:

If the printer will not be used for an extended period, remove the ink cartridges and install the humidification device. The device's reservoir contains a special moisturizing solution that can surround and penetrate the print head, ensuring it remains moist and ready for use even during downtime.

How to clean the printhead?

In most cases, if the printhead is clogged, you can clean it in the following ways.

1. Press the ink button on the printer panel or activate the print head cleaning function in the printer driver.

2. If the waste ink cannot be cleaned out after washing, use a syringe to directly draw waste ink from the waste ink tube. Repeat this process multiple times until waste ink is expelled, then perform another nozzle cleaning followed by a nozzle check.

3. Soaking method: Soak the print head and ink pad in a nozzle-cleaning solution to dissolve any dried ink and debris.

4. Strong ink flushing: If the print head is clogged, the L1800 E13 and L8058 have a strong ink flushing feature to attempt to clear the blockage.

How often should you replace the printhead?

If the printhead still cannot be used normally after cleaning, please replace the printhead. The printhead is a consumable part and needs to be replaced regularly after a period of use. It is recommended to replace the print head every three months
