What is the difference between C13 R1390 and E13 L1800?
The printhead is the same in the R1390 & L1800 DTF Printer. The main differences between the R1390 and L1800 are:
- Motherboard: The L1800 features a more stable motherboard compared to the R1390.
- Output Platform Heating Feature: The L1800 includes output platform heating designed for customers who live in cold weather area, which helps prevent ink flow and ensures optimal print quality. This feature is not available on the R1390.
- Power Ink Flush: If the printhead is clogged, the L1800 can try to repair the printhead by completing a powerful ink flushing, so the life of the nozzle will be longer. However, the R1390 does not have this powerful flushing function.

Is the RIP software compatible with Mac OS?
Compatibility depends on the model you purchased. Our RIP software is officially supported only on Windows. To use it on macOS, you need to install a Windows virtual machine using virtualization tools (e.g., Parallels Desktop).
For C13 / E13 / L8 / L13:
Only Macs with Intel CPUs (generally models produced before 2021) are compatible.
For U13 / U13D / VF13:
Fully compatible in a virtual environment.

One thing I fear the most is connecting wires on a computer and I felt so hopeless when the motherboard went bad on my InkSonic L1800 DTF printer.I have herd that it’s pretty common for motherboard issues so I wasn’t worried about it being disabled but my fear was the assembly of the part so I ordered a new Motherboard and quickly received it a few days later and took instructions from several videos and assembled it but after I did I wasn’t getting any signal or red light and this made me feel like I had screwed up. I set a chat with InkSonic and got a Thech person named Joy and she backtracked my assembly of the motherboard as well as the wiring’s and put me in the right direction pointing out every little detail reasoning why I wasn’t getting the right results. Joy was very patient and understanding and before I knew it she had my printer running so well. I am so grateful to have made InkSonic my choice. It’s been about a year and I have had so much success
